Tuft + Paw Cat Tree Review (We love it)

Updated: Mar 6, 2022

My cats are really picky with cat furniture. The problem is that... they see themselves as humans and prefer our couch and bookshelves instead of anything we actually buy for them. But I finally got a cat tree that my cats and I both love! Tuft and Paw’s The Grove cat tree is the purrfect balance between a functional cat furniture and an aesthetic home décor piece for my home. The Grove (Tall) was gifted to us by Tuft + Paw, I am so pleased with it that I decided to write a honest review here. If you're someone who likes to spend all your money on unique and high-quality cat accessories then read on!

Design

The Grove has a distinctive wood slat design with a top and bottom level for the cats to perch on. The slat design acts as the structure while also providing a secure hiding spot for cats to spy from! My cats love to creep on people from a distance so the slat design provides a hide out and a panoramic look out that they appreciate a lot. The Grove comes in two different sizes, the 24" short and the 41"tall version. I picked the $749 tall one because my cat, Ding, is a climber. He loves to be in an elevated spot to oversee all his minions (us). As you can see in the photo above, he loves to perch on the top level. If your cat likes to be on a ground level, I recommend the $599 short one.

I also picked The Grove Cat Tree because it seamlessly fits with my existing décor. It is not an eye sore like most cat furniture. It actually compliments my plant wall. The focal point of my living room is this plant wall shelf system that is made of wood. I love how The Grove has the same colors and textures as my plant shelf. We got the beige color Grove, however this product is also offered in grey. So you can pick the color that's best for you.

Quality

The Grove consists of premium plywood with high-quality veneer so it is very sturdy and durable. It is light-weight enough for me to move it around by myself. At the same time, this cat tree will not tip over easily. Ding was able to jump on without the cat tree budging.

Assembly & Packaging

All the parts come in one package and most of the it is already pre-assembled. It comes with all the instructions, tools and screws you will need. Assembly took us 10 minute max!

Maintenance

We wipe down the wood slats with a wet wipe and use a lint roll for the cushions.

Versatility

This cat furniture goes well in any corner of a room. I recently moved it into another room behind a couch and I really like the look of that as well! My cat, Mi, seems to like it in this location more. I often find her sleeping on the top. The cat tree is a versatile accent piece and also a great focal point for a modern cat home.

My Tuft + Paw Experience

I am obsessed with all the cats furniture at Tuft + Paw. You can tell that love was put into every details! In addition to The Grove Cat Tree , I also own a floof cushion which is the softest cushion for fur babies. I have their new cat bowls that are arriving as well. This modern cat furniture maker has a variety of cat scratchers, cat trees, toys and accessories.
