How to Make a Hoop Trellis : Video Tutorial

In this video, I’ll show you how to create a simple infinity hoop or circle trellis that will help you tame your favorite trailing plants and put them on display.

How to create a Hoop Trellis:

  1. Measure and cut the wire. (The length should account for the diameter plus the length of the support stakes.)

  2. Shape the wire by hand or use circular objects as a guide. (I find that pots make purrfect guides)

  3. Make a pin and loop connection to close the shape

  4. Wrap twine around the wire as a finishing touch.

  5. Stick it into the houseplant of your choice!

In my video, I used 25 inch length of wire to make a 6in diameter hoop trellis for my Hoya Mathilde! I grew this plant as a 4 leaf cutting. (Proud plant mom!)
